Kristie Bair, president of Bair Medical Spa, was named a 2013 Women of Influence honoree by Albuquerque Business First for her role as co-chair of New Mexico's Circle of Red, a central part of the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" Campaign.

As co-chair of New Mexico's Circle of Red, Kristie helped raise over $500,000, three-quarters of which will remain in New Mexico for research and education in women's heart health. As a result of Kristie's work, Susana Martinez, governor of New Mexico, signed legislation dedicating the University of New Mexico Hospital as a Premier Stroke Center. Not only that, Governor Martinez and Mayor Berry of Albuquerque became members of the Circle of Red themselves.
